It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph J. Simone Jr. (East Longmeadow, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Simone and Shirley Simone (Pease); and his sisters, Mary, Patricia, Mayona and Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Simone (Gagner); his children, Karen Simone, Audra Principe (Bill) and Joseph J. Simone III (Lori); his grandchildren, Leah McDonald (Mark), Daniel Harwood (Hannah), Timothy Harwood (Nicole), Anthony Principe, Oliver Simone and Bella Principe; and his sister Linda Borek (Paul). He is also survived by his 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
