Donald I. Christensen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald I. Christensen of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Christensen and Adelaide Christensen (Albrecht); his wife Ruth (Scheyhing); his brothers, Albert Christensen and Warren Christensen; and his brother-in-law Ernest Scheyhing.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Christensen (Bob), Donald Christensen, David Christensen (Kim) and Debra Christensen (Bob); his brother Philip Christensen (Shirley); and his sisters-in-law, Helen Christensen and Teresa Ferguson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
