Carole L. Podesta Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lacedonia and Eleanor "Ellie" Lacedonia (Clark) of East Longmeadow. She is survived by: her daughter Becky Maurer of Agawam; her boyfriend Michael Thomann; her boyfriend's child Christian; her daughter Kelly O'Brien (Maurer); her grandsons, Mason Maurer, Caden and Cody O'Brien; her siblings, Cindy Edwards (Steve) of Orleans, Nancy Adams (Bob) of East Longmeadow and Mark Lacedonia (Jane) of Granby, Connecticut.; her friends, Kevin, Desiree Edwards, Sarah, Mike Kerr, Ryan, Christy Edwards (Lin), Scott, Mariana Edwards and TJ Adams; her cousins, Dianne, Dennis and Kim O'Connor; her niece Sarah Kerr; and also, Harley, Paxton, Jaxon, Kira, Owen, Theo, Lily, Anna, Mel, Tatum, Tanner, Stephen Adams, Katie Adams, Jill Lacedonia, Caryn Lacedonia, Jadrien, Robin, Nate Maycock and Daniel. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Carole requested that any memorial donations be directed to metavivor.org, the only organization that solely funds metastatic breast cancer research or to Beacon Hospice, 815 Worcester Street, Springfield, MA 01151.
