He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlo F. Tranghese of Laborer's Union and Paolina Tranghese (Scibelli); his wife Donnae; his daughter-in-law Desiree; and his brothers, Salvatore, Louie and John.

He is survived by: his children, DJ (Daphne), Chris (Shelly), Carlo (Kristin) and Jon; his grandchildren, Marisa, Jess, Branden, Kyle, Alison, Courtney, Natalie, Michael, Jacob, Kacey and Carly; his great grandchild Aria; and his siblings, Albert (Carol) and Janet (Gene). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
