He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn Burson (Leganza); his grandson Nathan Burson; and his siblings, Donald Burson and Janelle Yates. He is survived by: his sons, Gordon A. Burson of East Longmeadow, MA and John C. Burson of Monson, MA; his stepchildren, Marilyn Mullen of Vernon, Lorna Schortmann (Thomas) of Plymouth, MA, Janice Rehman (Shaheen) of New York, NY and John Teklenski of Scotland, CT; his grandchildren, Gordon Burson (Erika) of Somers, Colin Burson of East Longmeadow and Abigail Burson of Ellington; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Rancourt of Manchester, Amanda Bayard of Tolland, Ryan Schortmann of Plymouth, MA and Ayesha Bhusri of New York, NY; and his great grandchildren, Emma Bhusri, Grayson Longo, Luca Longo and Warren Longo.
