She was predeceased by: her parents, Belmiro DeSouza and Charlotte DeSouza (Cabral); and her siblings, Agnes Vieira (DeSouza), Ernest, Louis DeSouza and Irene Manning (DeSouza).
She is survived by: her sisters, Olive Thayer and Alice DeSouza-Little. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and 6 great, great nieces and nephews.
