He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. O'Brien and Elizabeth O'Brien (Sullivan); his son Daniel J. O'Brien; and his brother Joseph O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla O'Brien (Standish); his children, Edward L. O'Brien (Lori) of East Falmouth, Thomas P. O'Brien (Meg) of Canton, Lauren E. O'Brien (Tom Silva) of Hingham, John M. O'Brien (Lisa) of Dedham and Paul J. O'Brien (Alison) of North Attleboro; his grandchildren, Dallas, Morgan, Taylor, Emilie, Kailey and Riley O'Brien; and his siblings, Richard O'Brien of Cohasset, Peter O'Brien of Norwood and Mary Quilty of Kingston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
