He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Scharff, (Gustavus) and John M. Scharff, Jr.; and his brothers, Robert and Thomas. He is survived by: his significant other Geraldine of East Falmouth; and his brothers, Kevin of Falmouth and Paul of Falmouth. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
