He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Alice (Eleanor); and his siblings, Pauline, Alice, Rosemary, MaryJo, Richie, Peter and Gilbert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Edwina "Dina" Gomes (Edwin "Rocky" Peter Gomes Jr.), Erica "Peachy" Gomes and Evelyn "Mickey" Gomes; his siblings, Ruthann Viera, Joseph Gomes, Patricia Hilliard, Nadine McCall and Ramona Washington; and his uncle John Andrade. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
