It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Powers of East Dennis, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas J. Powers and Mary T. Powers-Birch (Petty). He is survived by: his wife Esther F. DiPasquale; his daughters, MaryFrances Staples (Jeffrey) of Shrewsbury, Michele F Strand of Worcester and Donna-Jean Catino (Chris) of Spencer; his nephew Richard; his niece Mara Burns; his siblings, Paul Powers (Vickie) of Yarmouth, Patricia Carey (Jonathan) of Auburn and Ann Marie; his brother-in-law Richard Mercadante of Shrewsbury; his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Erica), Lyndsay, Chelsea, Nicholas, Madison, Christopher and Anthony; and also Donna Burns (DiPasquale).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Cancer Research.
