Mary F. Travers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary F. Travers of East Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Hanoria Sullivan (late Joseph) and Bridget Woulfe (William); and her siblings-in-law, Joseph, Helen Travers, Barbara and William Gillespie.
She is survived by: her husband Robert V. Travers; her son Robert V. Travers, Jr.; and her brother Johnny O'Connor (Mary). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary's memory to Sacred Heart Memorial Fund, 39 Sixth Street, Cambridge, MA 02141; Society of St. Vincent de Paul-Boston, 18 Canton Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 or the Massachusetts Teachers Association non-profit, The Massachusetts Child, which supports educators assisting students facing financial hardships.
