He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Fitzgerald and Dorothy Fitzgerald; his daughter Carolyn Fitzgerald Walker; and his siblings, Jean, Robert and Eugene Jr. Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Goodwin; his children, Sean, Katelyn, David Jr., Eugene and John; his daughters-in-law, Lori, Tina and Whitney; his grandchildren, Grace, Jack and Chris; and his pets, Lady, Livy and Sophie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
