He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Messier and Mary Messier (Flanigan); his son Joey Messier; and his sisters, Jean Kimball and Marie Gosk.
He is survived by : his wife Catherine of East Brookfield; his children, Paul Berthiaume (Cheryl) of East Brookfield, Amy Kady (Charles) of Spencer, Peter Berthiaume (Debra) of North Brookfield and William Berthiaume (Liza) of East Brookfield; and his siblings, Roger Messier and Loretta Quinlan of Duxbury, MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to St. John the Baptist Church "Renovation Fund" 121 Blaine Ave East Brookfield, MA. 01515.
