She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Jolda and Mary Jolda (Baran); her husband Anthony Kowalski (Tony); her siblings, Nellie Bonczyk (Ted), Stasia Kawiaka (Ted), William (Bessie), Edward (Irene) and Louis Jolda (Jeanette); and her granddaughter Christine Cole Ingalls (David).

She is survived by : her children, Anthony R (Marcia), Thomas E. Kowalski (Debby) and Carolyn S.; her grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Robert, Cynthia Cole, Michael, Kenneth and Krystal Kowalski; her great grandchildren, Michael, Katrena, Elizabeth Cole and Jackilyn Melanson; her great great grandchildren, Joseph, Anthony Santos, Genevieve, Mila Melanson and Vivianne Santos; her stepgrandsons, Seth and Alec Pickard; her granddaughter Cindy Cole; and also, Jackilyn, Genevieve and Mila Melanson.
