He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Isabelle Kirshkaln (Leland) of East Bridgewater; his children, Karen LaPlante (late Les) of Rochester, Jon Kirshkaln (Michelle) of East Bridgewater, David Kirshkaln (Lisa) of Maine, Amy Iapicca (Bob) of East Bridgewater and Katherine Haskell; and his sister Gloria Kirshkaln. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
