With solemn reverence, we commemorate Russell C. Allen of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, born in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on March 9, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Warner Allen Jr. and Gwendolyn Latour Rosler; and his brother Edward "Ted" Allen III. He is survived by: his friends, Capri and Lincoln; his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Lynch Allen; his children, Russell "Chris" Allen Jr., E. Bridgewater and Edward Allen; and his siblings, Scott Allen (Jeanne) of Flanders, NJ and Dana Allen of Westport, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacKinnon Funeral Home & Cremation Services (760 Washington St, Whitman, MA 02382). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
