He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio DaSilva and Anna DaSilva (Alves); and his siblings, Anthony DaSilva and Anne "Betty" Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor (Clapp); his children, Deborah Wood of Bridgewater, John DaSilva (Marilyn) of Bridgewater, Joanne Duvall (John) of Carmichael and Richard DaSilva (Sheila) of Halifax; his grandchildren, Michael Lee of Bridgewater, Raynie Lee of Bridgewater, Jennifer Amara of Plymouth, Jason DaSilva of Halifax, Jill Brooks of Taunton, Richard Barra of Marshfield, Brooke Lipus of Raynham, Jason Duvall of California and Jack DaSilva of Halifax; his brother Joseph of East Bridgewater; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Whittington of Falmouth. He is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
