He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Garland and Phyllis Garland (Goodfellow); his wife MaryAnn Garland (Joyce); his brother Steve; his children, Kim (David Provencher) and Scott (Shastin Garland); his brother Dr. Steven; his sister-in-law Helga Garland; his sister Claudia Garland (late Elliot Goldberg); his children, Nanci (Mike Munro) and Dan (Jamie Anderson); and his grandchildren, Ben (Reid Garland), Sean, Dan (May Munro), Thomas, Christopher (Evan Anderson) and Sydney (Noah Provencher). He was also cherished by his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
