Janet Thayer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Thayer of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Thayer and Ruth Thayer; her sister Joan Horigan of Wareham; her children, Scott Hickey (Marie) of Abington, Maureen Holbrook (Larry) of East Bridgewater and Gayle Hickey of East Bridgewater; and her nephews, John and Steven Horigan.
She is survived by: her sister Maureen Thayer of Halifax; her nephew Michael Thayer (Kristine) of Hanson; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Ashley Holbrook, Jacqueline Vincent (David), Ryan Hickey (Allyson) and Meghann Hickey; her great grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob Vincent; and also Paxton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
