He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Ward Sr. and Dorothy Thompson (Higgins). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Thompson; his daughters, Brenda (Scott Blatt), Bridget (Kevin Luce) and Jody (Raffi Topjian); his grandchildren, Joshua, Savannah, Charis, Selah, Caleb, Nathaniel, Malachi, Abigail, Tyler and Victoria; and his brothers, Jeff, Greg and Guy Thompson.
