We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 61, Lena Ann Matranga of East Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Though Lena Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lena Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matranga and Gloria Matranga; and her brother Richard Matranga. She is survived by: her husband Rafael Hernandez; her child Chris; and her siblings, John Matranga, Michael Matranga, Kimberly Swan (Joseph), Robert Matranga and Robin Matranga.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruggiero Family Memorial (971 Saratoga St, Boston, MA 02128).
