With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary E. (Dowling) McCarthy of Duxbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 22, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Dowling and Rosemary J. Dowling (Crowley). She is survived by: her husband Michael J. McCarthy; her children, Kerri M. (Dan Szafran) of Duxbury and Michael P. (Julie McCarthy) of Braintree; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Rose, Anna Kate Szafran, Bobby, James and William McCarthy; her siblings, Margaret "Chickie" (David Searles) of Marshfield, John B. Dowling III (Ellen Dowling) of North Grafton and Ralph (Michelle Dowling) of Stoneham; and her siblings-in-law, Mary McCarthy (Vince Coviello), Paul McCarthy (Jan Fitzpatrick), Patty (Rich Mitchell) and Sheila McCarthy (Ron Mattice). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
