Rita A. Fahey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita A. Fahey of Duxbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Fahey; her parents, Arthur Hurley and Delia Hurley (Flynn); her brother Arthur Francis Hurley; her sister-in-law Cynthia Hurley (Matos); her children, Mary Ann Ouellette (Michael) of Weymouth, Ruth Fahey of Weymouth, Michael Fahey of Weymouth, Thomas Fahey of Rochester, NH, John Fahey (Olga) of Marshfield and Peter Fahey; her grandchildren, Catherine Ouellette, Rachel Fahey, Bridget Fahey, Jennifer Montanez, Emily Fahey, John Fahey and Caroline Fahey; and her great grandchildren, Anastasia Wright, Justin Berchtold, Jaydon Berchtold and Jace Berchtold.
She is survived by: her nieces, Arlene Anzuoni, Linda Maloney and Diane Kilbride.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home (382 First Parish Rd, Scituate, MA 02066). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Mary of the Nativity Church (1 Kent St, Scituate, MA 02066).
