He was predeceased by: his child P. K. McNiff; and his foster sister Louise Demeule of Salem. He is survived by: his wife Jane McNiff; his children, Sandra Hatch of Wareham, Christopher McNiff of Kingston and Tracy Staples of Amherst; his brother James McNiff of Natick; and his foster daughter Barbara Opell of Kingston. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
