He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O'Brien and Kathleen O'Brien (Collis); his wife Donna O'Brien; and his siblings, Charles, John O'Brien, Claire Galizzio, Ruth Doyle and Cabra Guzman Edward.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Johns (Ed), Kim Sulfaro (Domenic), Tracey Coleman (John), Mark O'Brien, Eddie O'Brien (Tara) and Stephen O'Brien; his grandchildren, Vinnie Johns, Cirina Johns, Chelsi Coleman, Anthony Sulfaro, Madison O'Brien, Gavin O'Brien and Thomas O'Brien; his great grandchildren, Aleah and Carter; and his sisters, Eileen Dykens, Maryanne Fennesy and Midgie George. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
