He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Dumont and Irene Dumont (Marcotte); his son Ronald; his sibling Francis "Frankie" Dumont; and his grandson Noah Dumont.
He is survived by: his former wife Priscilla Dumont (Gagnon); his sons, Christopher Dumont (Erin) and Steven Dumont (Michelle Kuzmicki); his siblings, Gerard Dumont (Marianne) and Dolores Dumont; his grandchildren, Victoria, Ryan, Steven, Alianna, Michael, Madison, Bailey and Ayden; his stepgrandchildren, Kaleigh, Kyle and Kayden; and his child Shawn Dumont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
