It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Long of Dracut, Massachusetts, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond A. Long; her parents, Daniel J. Coakley and Catherine M. Coakley (Magdalen); and her siblings, Joseph Coakley, Daniel Coakley, Evelyn Evans, Katherine Clark and Mary Bostwick.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ogden of Pennsylvania, James Long (Louise) of Tyngsboro, Brian Long (Alan Yetman) of Texas, Gary Long (Marcia) of Tyngsboro, John Long of Lexington and Carol Harmon (David) of Dracut; and her sister Helen Fields. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

To ensure the safety of all, COVID-19 social distancing measures will be in place and face coverings are kindly required.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Rita's name may be made to; St. Mary Magdalen Building Fund, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA 01826.
