Pauline A. (Ashness) Gallagher Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pauline A. (Ashness) Gallagher of Dracut, Massachusetts, born in Waltham, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John P. Gallagher; and her brothers, Herbert P., Jr., Walter J. and Bernard W. Ashness. She is survived by: her children, Maureen A. Taddeo (Stephen) of Dracut, John P.'Jay'Gallagher, Jr. (Judith) of Tyngsborough, Timothy P. Gallagher (Dianne) of Merrimack, Andrea M. Hoffer (Douglas) of Pepperell, Matthew D. Gallagher (Kara) of Simsbury, Mark C. Gallagher (Jennifer) of Kennebunk and Goose; her grandchildren, John P. Gallagher, III, Erin Gallagher, Andrew, Jeffrey Gallagher, Alison and Caroline Hoffer; her children, Kaleigh, Corey, Kevin Gallagher, Elizabeth and Jacqueline Gallagher; and her sisters-in-law, Claire Ashness of York and Mary Joyce of Onset. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Pauline belonged to the National Educators Association, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, the Retired Educators Association of Massachusetts, the Retired State, County and Municipal Employees Association and was also a longtime volunteer with the RSVP program at the Plympton School.
