He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Rouleau and Rosaria A. Rouleau (Nadeau); and his brothers, Roger and Paul Rouleau. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jean (Tovey); his son Robert Norman Rouleau (Pam); his grandchildren, Nicolette (Ryan Fisher) and Alexander Rouleau; his daughter Donna Jean Vargo (Alex); his granddaughter Juliette; and his daughter Darlene Rose Smith (Rouleau).
