It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria L. Silva of Dracut, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Avelino A. Silva; and her parents, Francisco Picanco and Rosa Amelia Picanco. She is survived by: her son Olinto M Silva (Anabella Silva) of Dracut, MA; her grandchildren, Derek Silva of Nashua, NH and Caitlin Walker (Michael Walker) of Hollis, NH; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Silva of Lowell, Ryan and Scarlett Walker of Hollis, NH.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Maria's love for all animals was second only to her love of family; memorial donations may be made in Maria's memory to MSPCA-Angell Hospital.
