With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Barberie of Dracut, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Barberie and Jennie Barberie (West); and his brother Don. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ann (Ryan); his children, Karen (Brandon), Amy (Matt) and Jeff (Amanda); his grandchildren, James and Ryan; his brother David (Jane); and his aunt Barbara. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory may be made to St. Jude's Hospital at stjude.org or to the VA of Lowell at va.gov/boston-health-care.
