He is survived by: his children, Beth A. Overka (David) and Joseph R. Demmons, Jr. (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Ryan, Shelby Demmons (Benjamin Auger), Megan Vadnais (Kyle) and Nicholas Overka; his great grandchildren, Landon and Bentley Auger; his sister Vivian Cregg; and his caregiver Eileen Nutter.
