George Panagopoulos Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Panagopoulos of Dracut, Massachusetts, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Panagopoulos and Martha Panagopoulos (Petroulas); and his siblings, Angie Couris, Anthony Panagopoulos, Charles Panas, Louis Panagopoulos, William Panas, Helen Shea, Jennie Fafalios, Margaret Tgibides and Paul Panagopoulos.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Panagopoulos (Frangedakis); his sons, James Panagopoulos (Grace) of Hudson, NH and George Panagopoulos, Jr. (Kellye) of Sarasota, FL; his stepgrandsons, Jack Nichelson (Kimberly) of Berea, OH and Michael Boggs (Amber) of Thornton, CO; his brother Theodore Panagopoulos (Elaine) of Pelham, NH; and his godchildren, Barbara Murphy and Micheal Tgibides. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St., Lowell, MA 01854.
