He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Markarian and Sally Markarian. He is survived by: his wife Miriam (Ouloosian); his daughters, Miriam McCarthy (Daniel) of Hudson, NH and Lisa Arakelian (John) of Winchester, MA; his grandchildren, Shannon, Erik McCarthy and Jackie Arakelian; his sister Jean Webb (Virgil); and his siblings-in-law, Rose, Betty Ouloosian and Bob Ouloosian.
