She was predeceased by: her parents, George O'Brien and Dorothy O'Brien (Phillips); her sons, Frank Newell, Charlie Newell, George Newell and Craig Newell; her daughter-in-law Karen Roche; her sister Nancy Burns (Tom); and her brother-in-law Carl Elliston.

She is survived by: her spouse Thomas R. Roche; her son Thomas Roche, Jr. of Dracut, MA; her stepdaughters, Lee Ann Hodapp (Bill) of Marietta, CA and Lauren Budden (Joe) of Hopkinton; her grandchildren, Michael Hodapp, Karly, Mark Bennett, Joey Hodapp, Alex Newell, Craig Roche of Dracut, Rory Newell and Justin Roche of Dracut, MA.; and her siblings, Florence Elliston of Malden, Mike (Karen O'Brien), Hank (Sue O'Brien) and Laura (Tom Upton). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
