He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert E. Ballou and Ruth E. Ballou (Forden); and his sister Carol Babbidge (Kenneth). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Ballou (Fratus); his son Chris Ballou; his daughter-in-law Cindi Strauss; his grandson Dashiell Ballou of Houston, Texas; his son Richard S. Ballou; his daughter-in-law Virginia; his grandchildren, Richard P., Theodore, Cody and Alida Ballou of Woodbury, CT; his daughter Alissa Janes (Ballou); his son-in-law Dave; his grandchildren, Daphne, Elijah and Josiah Janes of Newport Beach, California; his niece Karen Koch (Babbidge); his nephew Mark Babbidge; and also, Steve Kemos, Lisa Fernandes, James Kemos, Samantha Kemos, George Kemos, Kristin Wadsworth (Kemos), James Kemos Jr., Zakary Kemos, J. P. Fernandes and Matthew Fernandes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home (24 Worthen St, Chelmsford, MA 01824).
