He is survived by: his close friend Elaine Hurley; his children, Derek Penrose of Dracut, Mathew Penrose (Debra) of Dracut and Heather Penrose of Worcester; his grandchildren, Kendra and Ryan Penrose of Dracut; his brothers, Frederick Penrose of Oklahoma and Leonard Penrose (Virginia) of Billerica; and his former wife Patricia Penrose of Dracut.
