She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas P. Nicholaou; her parents, Nicholas G. Cakounes and Eleni Cakounes (Zouzoulas); and her siblings, George Cakounes and Jeannie Smith (Cakounes).
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Miscovitch and George Nicholaou; her daughter-in-law Evanthea Nicholaou-Anderson (Thea); her grandchildren, Kristofer, Alex Anderson and Angelique Mercier; her brother Peter; her sister-in-law Sophia Cakounes; her brother Theodore Cakounes; and also Rex. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Christine's wishes were to have donations made to the Transfiguration Church Kitchen Fund.
