He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burgess and Estelle "Stella" Burgess; and his son Alan. He is survived by: his children, Greta of Wells Maine and Evan of Methuen Massachusetts; his brothers, Michael "Rye" (Roselyn "Roz") and Eric of Lowell; his sister-in-law Josalyn of Lowell; his siblings, Judith "AJ" Moran and Tristam Lawrence (Gail) of California; and his former wife Marsha.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mc Kenna-Ouellette Funeral Home (327 Hildreth St, Lowell, MA 01850).
In lieu of flowers donations in Alan's name may be made to The Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01850.
