He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Gail Scholz (Wages). He is survived by: his father Ronald Edward Scholz; his wife Karen Scholz (Amato); his sisters, Gail Galin and Dawn Scholz of Micanopy, Florida.; and his nephews, Andrew Scholz, Zachary Galin, Alex Galin and Jeffery Galin.
