William F. O'Connell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William F. O'Connell of Dorchester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William F. leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Esty" O'Connell (Joyce); his daughters, Maureen Peecha (late Stephen T. Peecha) of Plymouth, Peggy (Joe Westfield) of Hanson, Kate Eby of Plymouth and Teresa (Timmy Hurley) of Westwood; and his siblings, Margaret McIsaac of Maryland and Joseph O'Connell of Quincy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (800 Columbia Rd, Dorchester, MA 02125).
