He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Leary and Claire Leary (McAuliffe); and his brother Gerald "Judgie" (Gayle Leary). He is survived by: his wife Karen P. Leary (Doherty); his children, Conor (Stephany Leary) of Dorchester and William Leary (Kathryn Johnston) of Dorchester; his siblings, Patricia (late Brian Gosnell) of Weymouth, Joseph (Margaret Leary) of Dorchester and Daniel (Tracey Leary) of Rockland; and his brothers-in-law, John (Joanne Doherty) of Milton and Steven (Amy Doherty) of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
