He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor F. Murphy (Martine) and William J. Murphy of Dorchester, MA.; his wife Duchie; and his siblings, William Murphy, Leo Murphy, Jean Curran (Murphy) and Gerard Murphy.
He is survived by: his sisters, Eleanor "Derry" Fallon (Murphy) of Weymouth and Irene Murphy of Windsor, CT.; his daughters, Laura McIntosh (Andrew) of Ripton, VT, Nancy Murphy (Michael Grant) of Middleboro, MA and Sarah Kiernan of Norwell, MA; and his grandchildren, Kate, Anna, Amy Kiernan, Beth and Matthew McIntosh. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
