It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria (Slowinska) Makar of Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Makar; her siblings, Hela and Antoni; and her parents, Antoni and Weronika (Pelka).
She is survived by: her children, Danuta Wiktorowska (Wincenty) and Marcella Tanona (Janusz); her grandchildren, Babcia of Andrea, Danielle, John, Paul and Mariola; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas and Tristan; her nieces and nephews, Ella and Karol; and her great-niece Kayla. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
Since our mother fell and injured herself during Covid, she resided the past four years at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Roslindale.
