He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Murphy and Mary Murphy (Sullivan); his wife Mary Murphy (Hession) of Dorchester; and his brother Charles Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Michael Murphy (Mary) of New Seabury, MA, Patrick Murphy (Ana) of Sarasota, FL and Denise Andrade (Stephen) of Tampa, FL; and his brother Thomas Murphy of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and over 20 nieces and nephews.
