He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Janet F. Shaughnessey (Maloney) of Dorchester and Francis L. Shaughnessey; his children, Corey Shaughnessey of Pembroke and Sarah Shaughnessey of Pembroke; his brother Paul Shaughnessey (Kathleen) of Dorchester; and his nieces, Kara McLaughlin (Adrian) of Quincy, Jessica Shaughnessey (Oisin McDonagh) of Braintree and Melissa Shaughnessey (Matthew Miller). He was also cherished by great niece's and nephew and many cousins.
