As we bid adieu to Joan A.'s earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan A. has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William J. O'Brien; her children, Paul O'Brien (Marian) of Dorchester, William O'Brien (Jean Marie Burns) of Dorchester, Carol Linnane of Maine, Joanne Beswick (John) of West Roxbury, Daniel O'Brien (Linda) of Quincy and Dennis O'Brien; and her brother Michael Larkin of Weymouth. She was also cherished by 14 loving grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home (740 Adams St, Dorchester, MA 02122). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (243 Neponset Ave, Dorchester, MA 02122).
