She was predeceased by: her husband Martin C. Connolly; her son John J. Connolly; her parents, John O'Brien and Winifred O'Brien (Craigin); and her sister Winifred M. Hegarty (Hugh "Jack" Hegarty).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Faria (Joe Faria) of Cape Elizabeth, Margaret E. McKeen (William McKeen) of Dorchester, Martin C. Connolly Jr. (Trisha Hardiman) of Dorchester, Teresa H. King (James King) of Quincy, Aileen M. Connolly (Sasha Tyler) of Dorchester and Mary C. Pitts; her grandchildren, Melissa Wong, William McKeen, Megan Pitts, Paul Pitts, Matthew Pitts, Sarah King and Emily Faria; and her pet Cora. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
