He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Valentine O'Connor and Hannah O'Connor (Tobin); his siblings, Dennis O'Connor Jr., Mary Niedzialkowski, Catherine Bullock, Josephine McNiece, Paul O'Connor, Francis O'Connor, Marjorie Alter, Joseph O'Connor and Daniel "Buddy" O'Connor; and his pet Rory.
He is survived by: his children, Tara J. O'Connor of North Berwick and Sean L. O'Connor (Kristian L. Jeffrey) of West Roxbury; the mother of his children Patricia A. O'Connor (Lynch) of Boynton Beach, Florida.; his great grandchildren, Aiden Morin and Meli Kalima; and his sisters, Patricia (Robert Tuohy) of Mashpee and Dorothy (Francis Spring) of Falmouth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
