It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Galvin of Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bernice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bernice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Galvin; her children, Susan Galvin of Dorchester, Robert (Jeanne) of Plymouth, Daniel Galvin of Holbrook, Scott and Ronald Galvin; and her brother John Betts (Patricia) of Plymouth. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamel - Lydon Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel (650 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A committal service will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (920 Adams St, Boston, MA 02124).
